Description | This is a sample (8 cm wide) of granite that is rich in silver. The sample contains silver-rich galena and pyrite (dark colored minerals) along with pink K-feldspar and quartz. Although native silver exists, most silver production comes from minerals such as galena and pyrite, that are not pure silver. |
