DescriptionSchroeckingerite [NaCa3(UO2)(CO3)3(SO4)F·10H2O], is a uranium carbonate-sulfate mineral. It is found as small concretions in clays and arkoses (this photo) near Wamsutter, Wyoming, and in a few other places. Its bright yellowish green color is distinctive. It is generally a secondary mineral that forms by alteration of uraninite or other uranium minerals.
