DescriptionThis specimen is a light gray, earthy-looking intrusive igneous rock. Although difficult to see in hand specimen, it contains feldspars (anorthoclase phenocrysts and orthoclase in the matrix), nepheline, and pyroxene (aegirine) as major minerals. This is 10 cm across.
