DescriptionThe Eldridge Glacier originates on the southeastern flanks of the Mt. McKinley, the highest peak in North America (6195 m, in the background). Other large valley glaciers on Mt. McKinley include the Muldrow Glacier, the Ruth Glacier, and Tokositna Glaciers. These glaciers extend up to 40 miles and may be several miles wide.
