DescriptionThis photo shows the lower part of the Jurassic section near Moab, Utah. At the top, the cliff former is the Entrada Sandstone. It is underlain by a thin layer of the Carmel Formation and then the whitish slope of the Navajo Sandstone. The red Kayenta Formation is at the base of the cliff.
