| Description | Archaean komatiites are exposed in a small hill in Monroe Township, Ontario. This classic locality is sometimes referred to as “Pike Hill,” named after a geologists who did extensive work there. It has, unfortunately, been considerably damaged by geologists with large hammers! The outcrop has many spectacular examples of spinefex textures. |
