TitleBoudinage and block rotation
DescriptionBoudinage and block rotation within pulled-apart blocks of a mafic dike, within garnet amphibolite gneisses of the Cordillera Darwin, Tierra del Fuego (loc. Ventisquero Italia). The boudinage blocks are 0.5-1m in length and the gneissic foliation is well illustrated. Garnet porphyroblasts are visible within the dark gneiss layer, right center.
