DescriptionPollucite is a silicate found in lithium-rich granitic pegmatites. Pollucite's chemical formula is (Cs,Na)2Al2Si4O12·(H2O). It is named after Pollux, a figure from Greek mythology and the brother of Castor, and for its common association with “castorite” (petalite).
