TitleLeucite
DescriptionLeucite belongs to the feldspathoid group. At high temperatures, leucite is isometric and will form the isometric trapezohedron crystal form. It is one of the few minerals that forms the unique trapezohedron. At one time leucite was used as a source of potassium and aluminum. Leucites chemical formula is KAlSi2O6. The name comes from the Greek, leukos, meaning white.
