Description | This sample contains vein-like portions of green, brown, and blue minerals. The green mineral is atacamite, Cu2Cl(OH)3. The brown mineral is phosgenite, Pb2CO3Cl2. The blue minerals is cumengite, Pb21Cu20Cl42(OH)40. These are all secondary minerals that form by oxidation of galena and other ore minerals. This label on the top surface is about 3 cm across. |
