| Description | Boleite (bright blue) is a hydrated lead copper silver chloride hydroxide, Pb26Cu24Ag10Cl62(OH)48•3H2O. It is a pretty mineral, and is sometimes used as a gem. This sample also contains leadhillite (light green-buff color), a lead sulfate carbonate hydroxide, and brown quartz. This sample is about 4 cm across. |
