Title | Hills Pond Lamproite, Woodson County, Kansas |
Description | This extrusive igneous rock contains abundant small phenocrysts of phlogopite and serpentinized olivine, but alteration makes them hard to pick out. Finer grained apatite, diopside, richterite, perovskite, spinel and magnetite are also present but cannot be seen in this hand specimen.
