Description | Stibiotantalite, SbTaO is a rare mineral found with other tantalum minerals, generally in granitic pegmatites. It is generally dark brown, yellow brown or reddish brown. In this specimen (1 cm long), the stibiotantalite is vitreous, brownish tinged with violet, and shows semi-conchoidal fracture. |
