Description | Tetradymite is a steel-gray mineral, chiefly Bi2Te2S. The type locality is at Zupkov in the Slovak Republic where it was reported in 1831. It was first found, in 1815, at Telemarken in Norway. It often occurs in quartz associated with native gold. |
