Title | Sylvanite with fluorite, quartz, and seicite in volcanic breccia |
Description | Sylvanite, AgAuTe4 (silver gold telluride), is a telluride mineral of gold and silver with a steel-gray, silver-white, or brass-yellow color. It often occurs in implanted crystals resembling written characters, and hence is called graphic tellurium. Here it is seen with fluorite, quartz and seicite, all embedded in volcanic breccia. |
