TitleArsenopyrite in biotite schist
DescriptionThis specimen (8 cm across) contains silvery arsenopyrite (FeAsS) in a fine grained biotite schist. Minor chlorite is also present but hard to pick out. Arsenopyrite is the most common ore of arsenic. Although in a schist here, it is more commonly found in high temperature veins.
