DescriptionWavellite, Al3(PO4)2(OH)3•(H2O)5, is a mineral that often forms as radiating globules, such as those shown here. The gobules often sparkle and show an interesting play of light. This green color is typical, but white, yellow an brown specimens are known. This specimen is about 6 cm across.
