DescriptionConnellite (the blue mineral shown) sometimes has a deep blue color that rivals azurite's. It is often associated with other copper minerals yielding beautifully colored specimens with various shades of green and blue. Connellite is a hydrated copper chloried sulfate hydroxide. This specimen is 10 cm long.
