DescriptionThis specimen is from the oxidized part of a copper deposit. The dark black-orange mineral is murchochite, a lead-copper oxide that contains chlorine and bromine. The green fibrous mineral is aurichalcite, a zinc-copper carbonate hydroxide. White quartz is also present.
