Description | This metamorphic rock has a shiny luster due to the presence of fine grained mica. Indiviudual mineral grains cannot be seen in hand specimen, but in thin section quartz, mica, chlorite, graphite and magnetite are apparent. This sample is 9.5 cm across. |
