TitleDiorite cut by two veins dipping away from each other
DescriptionDiorite cut by two veins dipping away from each other, and these in turn are cross-cut by faults. The apparent displacement on the vein to the left is left-lateral, while the vein to the right is right-lateral. From the photograph one can ascertain that the actual movement is close to dip-slip rather than strike-slip. This is from an area in Quebec about 85 miles southwest of Chibougamau.
