TitlePegmatite boudins in Reppi schist
DescriptionPegmatite boudins in Reppi schist, Geitind, Norway. The Reppi schist is in the lower plate of a major thrust fault. The horizontal foliation was produced by sinistral shear. The pegmatite dikes that dip to the right are sub-parallel with the l1 direction and have been extended more than 100 percent, whereas those that dip to the left are closer to parallel to the l3 direction and have been folded and shortened.
