| Description | The whitish to tan mineral that dominates this specimen is calcite. The grayish-greenish mineral is fluorite. The calcite forms rounded nobs composed of many small individual crystals. Fluorite, a cubic mineral, forms larger crystals. In this specimen just a hint of fluorite's cubic nature can be seen. This specimen is about 8 cm across. |
