DescriptionA national landmark, Dinosaur Ridge is located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains near Morrison, Colorado. The site contains Jurassic dinosaur bones including both Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus, as well as Cretaceous footprints belonging to ornithopods and theropods. This view shows fluvial crossbeds in the Plainview Formation (Dakota Group, mid Cretaceous).
