DescriptionThis slope exposes Pennsylvanian (bottom) up to Cretaceous (top) rocks. The rim at the top is Dakota Sandstone (Cretaceous). Below that are slopes of the Morrison Formation (Jurassic) that overlie hard to distinguish cliffs of Entrada Sandstone (Jurassic), Navajo Sandstone (Jurassic) and Wingate Sandstone (Triassic). The redbeds at the bottom are mostly Permian.
