TitleEndlichite
DescriptionEndlichite, Pb5([V,As]O4)3Cl, an intermediary member between mimetite and vanadinite. Usually regarded as an arsenic-rich variety of vanadinite. As such, some of the vanadate ions have been partially replaced by arsenate, AsO4, ions. Wholesale replacement eventually produces mimetite. Typically the mineral takes up the hexagonal crystal structure and is often brown or orange in color.
