DescriptionThese two samples vary from 2-3 cm. Hedenbergite is a member of the pyroxene group. Hedenbergite is a rock forming mineral in several metamorphic rocks. It is also found in some igneous rocks and ore bodies. Hedenbergite's chemical formula is CaFeSi2O6. It is named after the Swedish mineralogist, M. A. L. Hedenberg.
