Description | This specimen shows a nearly pure aggregate of plagioclase. Larger blue feldspars are conspicuous in a finer granulated, light colored groundmass. Veins of calcite, and clinopyroxene altering to hornblende, are also locally present. This sample is 9 cm across. |
