Description | Plumosite (Pb2Sb2S5) is a variety of boulangerite. It is called “plumosite” due to its plumose (feathery) habit and was thought to be a different mineral. It is also called jamesonite, which is a steel-gray mineral, of metallic luster, commonly fibrous and massive. It is a sulphide of antimony and lead, with a little iron. |
